The Platform for Security and Defense Initiatives (PISA) invites you to the presentation of a new product on the achievements in the implementation of the Information Security Strategy in the period 2019-2024 and challenges and impediments that were in the process of implementing the Strategy.
The study proposes a series of recommendations to ensure the security of the information space:
Operationalization of the Information Security Coordinating Council;
Developing the skills of specialists in the field of information and cyber security;
Synchronization of activities between public authorities and the private sector;
Establishing active partnerships by national institutions with digital platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok) to quickly identify and eliminate manipulative content;
Continuous assessment of risks and threats in the information space;
Adapting the regulatory framework to new technological realities and regional security dynamics;
Creating a centralized national framework for strategic communication;
Strengthening media education and digital literacy;
Improving online safety,
Improving legislation and regulations in the field of social media and artificial intelligence;
Implementing media literacy programs at the national level;
Organizing public awareness campaigns;
Increasing the degree of safety of individuals in accordance with the actions of state institutions.
